A Good Website Ltd, trading as Yelow, is the controller of personal information collected through yelow.co.uk.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Yelow, we may collect your name, contact and delivery details; account and order information; correspondence; device, security and website-use information; and payment status supplied by a payment provider. We do not intend to store complete payment-card details.

How and why we use it

We use information to operate and secure the website, respond to enquiries, create accounts, fulfil and support orders when purchasing opens, prevent fraud, keep business and tax records, meet legal duties and improve our service. Our lawful bases may be performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests and consent where required.

Who receives information

We may share only necessary information with hosting and IT providers, payment providers, delivery and fulfilment partners, professional advisers, regulators and authorities. We do not sell personal information. If information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we will use an approved transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed. Order, accounting and tax records are normally retained for six years; general enquiries for up to 24 months; account data while the account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards; and security or technical logs ordinarily for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is necessary for a legal claim, fraud investigation or statutory duty.

Cookies

Essential cookies may be used for security, accessibility, preferences and WooCommerce functions. Optional analytics or advertising cookies will not be set unless an appropriate consent control is available and consent has been given. You can also manage cookies through your browser.

Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. Contact info@yelow.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
